Gari The Best Sushi Side Dish

Gari a pink stuff and is mainly a sushi condiment, a ginger pickled in sweet vinegar. It is named after the sound it makes when chewed. Gari reduces the smell of fresh fish, refreshes the mouth, and also acts an antibacterial agent. It is an important side dish and is sweet with a tiny residual ginger taste. This is served to cleanse the palate between bites or between rolls. It also acts as a mild bacterostatic agent.
